How to Prevent Corrosion of C22 Nickel Alloy Pipe

Generally speaking, anti-corrosion work is divided into three processes.


Rust prevention treatment of pipeline

Before painting, the oil stain, slag, rust, and zinc dust on the pipe surface should be removed. Shot blasting is selected for rust removal, and the product quality standard is Sa2.5


The interval between painting the pipeline surface after rust prevention treatment shall not exceed 8 hours. When painting, the reference surface should be dry and manic. The finish paint should be uniform and round, without lumps or bubbles. Painting is not allowed within the range of 150~250 mm on both sides of the pipeline.


After the finish paint is completely dry, brush the paint and bond the glass fiber cloth. The interval between applying the top coat and painting shall not exceed 24 hours.


During the entire application process of C22 seamless pipe, the surface layer sometimes encounters transverse cracks. There are many reasons for this situation. Here, the editor of the capillary manufacturer will give you a detailed analysis.


If the deformation of C22 seamless pipe is very small during the entire empty drawing process, the inner and outer surfaces will cause additional stresses of compression and internal tension. At this time, due to deformation and poor permeability, the widening trend of the outer layer is greater than that of the inner layer, resulting in additional compressive stress on the outer layer and additional tensile stress on the inner surface layer. If the additional tensile stress on the inner surface layer is large, the in-situ stress and additional stress will basically be superimposed during drawing, exceeding the approved level of compressive strength of C22 seamless pipe, leading to lateral cracking of the inner surface layer.


Under the corresponding structural mechanics standards, many factors that reduce plastic deformation during the production and processing of C22 seamless pipes will increase the probability of internal transverse cracking. Therefore, in the production of C22 seamless pipes, quenching quality and eliminating alkali embrittlement are very important.


In the process of empty drawing, there are not only radial additional stresses, but also radial additional stresses. Longitudinal cracks are caused by additional radial tensile stress caused by empty tension.
